New Boulder Creek Fire Department Website, January 1, 2015

May contain: badge, logo, symbol, and first aid

Many of you may have noticed our website has been non-existent for several months. In May of 2014 the District office was flooded by a sprinkler pipe, which failed in the attic. Our entire server system was destroyed and we lost a great deal of electronic information which also included our website. We are slowly putting everything back together including the website.

The good news is we are putting a site together which should be much easier to navigate and which will have a lot more useful information for everyone. Here are some highlights of the new website. Links to our Facebook and Twitter pages to keep you updated. During events such as the December 2014 storms we try to keep road conditions and important information updated there as situations occur. Many pages show current incidents in Santa Cruz County through firedispatch.com. Current news and upcoming events can be found on the home page. Under the programs tab you can find various programs the District offers and is involved in.

Want to be a Boulder Creek Firefighter? Need information about backyard burning? Want to know what the current weather or traffic conditions are? You can find all of this and more in the Resource tab.

In the Fire Prevention tab you can find the Districts adopted Fire Codes, Santa Cruz County Fire Prevention Standards, Information about protecting your home from wildfire and more.

These are just a few of the many features of the website. Keep in mind the site is under construction and will take some time to complete. Some of the links and/or pages may not work now, but will in the near future. Please take the time to look around our site. If you have any suggestions for our site email them to Chief Kevin McClish for consideration.
